When he needed money it was “urgent”. As in “if I don’t hit these monetary goals I might have to shut down”.
After he received the money he asked for, nothing is urgent anymore and he’ll do it on his own time.
The only thing ever urgent about this was getting money.
250 people just got scammed. Many of whom have urgent needs of their own, such as child care, paying the rent and utilities and the overall costs of life.
I see where his mindset is at though. He’s by and large excluded from the real activism and he seems content with making videos and fundraising off that.
He removed those Patreon goals because he doesn’t want to be held to any of his promises. People will get his content when he damn well feels like it and they all need to shut the fuck up and pay him.

If abusing someone you dislike online gets you off, you need to know the more you diss, insult and demean them over almost everything they say or do, the less they give a shit about your reaction and the more you reveal the problem is with you.

He’s still reading this thread. Twitter and elsewhere are relatively calm right now, so we’ve made Jabba the Hutt’s Christmas list.

He probably didn’t like it how I exposed the missing Patron goals and how he’s never getting to 1000. And the cult leader tactics hit him a little too close because he knows it’s exactly what he is doing.

Two sentences, yet “We” (2X). “Our”. “Us”. “My team”.

Older than shit cult leader technique to make it seem like it’s a team effort, rather than personal enrichment. Only two base salaries paid out. All the rest is used at the leader’s sole discretion.

He sees the downward trend and he puts out these reminders because it hasn’t gotten to the begging stage. Yet.

He’s removed all the Patreon goals. This does two things. He won’t have to suffer the embarrassing fate of falling below the 540 mark for the second time which he is due to fall below in a few days. It also removes the 1000 Patreon goal that he now knows he’ll never reach. He got close in 2021. But it’s never happening.

Second is that he’s no longer beholden to his promises such as yearly documentaries (this was promised even on the 380 goal), TED Talks, hiring Tibor, creating a new studio, etc.

Lloyd Evans is employing all the WT tricks in wriggling himself free from previous promises which were still up when he started his begging crusade. It’s similar to the Awake! magazine removing all reference to 1914.

Looks like he got out of doing a “documentary” this year as he did last year. I don’t think he wants to do anything other than the bare minimum to keep the channel going. He’s persona non grata in the UK and by his own admission, he has qualms about attending any meetups due to the steadfast opposition to him.

New followers are coming out feeling they were lied to. They were. This is working, folks. Like WT, Lloyd Evans can’t hide the truth about himself. This upcoming implosion of his lawsuit will illustrate just that.

I do feel sorry for Dijana. Even though she is somewhat complicit in him being able to continue acting as he is. I don't know how much of that is her having been manipulated, and how much is self-preservation/getting what she can out of the situation?

Somewhat? I’d say she is complicit. One common theme among the begging video commenters was how they would donate if they could but couldn’t afford it. And then they saw the response and decided to join as Patrons anyway. If people are saying they can’t afford even the lowest tiers it tells you they are living paycheque to paycheque.

A single mother somewhere is giving Lloyd Evans money, and his wife is getting her hair done or having her latest tattoo inked, courtesy of the same pool of funds.

After all, Lloyd was clear about needing to pay Dijana her “wages”.

I sincerely doubt she needed to be manipulated. As Lloyd said on that abusive letter:

You have known for years that I am a workaholic and we have talked about it openly, yet you have persisted with our relationship and been quite happy to reap the dividends of my uneven work-life balance financially.

Take whatever Lloyd says with a grain of salt, but the last sentence indicates that she enjoys the benefits of his grift. I have no reason to dispute that. Even last year on his birthday trip she was posing in the background for the pic he was about to tweet, with both parties knowing quite well that their relationship was under public scrutiny after what he said in the livestream and about them being separated. However passive, that was tacit support for the continued grift off of vulnerable ex-cult members.

I don’t doubt it in the least that she has gotten some sort of lump sum or increase in pay from this latest bump.

She does not belong anywhere in the conversation about Lloyd and him being compromised by his actions in Thailand, but if you want to talk about the grift, she is right in the middle of it, enjoying her lifestyle at the expense of single mothers and 50-something exJW janitors.

My sympathy for that woman has been exhausted. Like her husband, she needs to get a real job like all the other single mothers they are funding off of do.

Kit Kat posted that link for a reason: Hardly anyone was watching and Lloyd was struggling to come up with anything to talk about. Lloyd even admitted this in the end when he said he was panicking because only 11 people were viewing. If you need another reason why he routinely skips these Patrons only livestreams, it’s because no one shows.

Kit Kat was responsible for probably 80% of the comments and was desperate to keep him engaged. Lloyd was quite familiar with Kit Kat and it’s obvious she is one of the few constants if not the only one on his livestreams. Only 8 people bothered to make comments and 2 of those were just to say goodbye.

Most of the conversation was about the Governing Body and it was clear that he enjoys this subject immensely. In particular he loved talking about the personalities of the GB members, their helpers and their manners of speaking.

Kit Kat made sure he was fed these GB questions and he went on several tangents. He would have been absolutely floundering otherwise.

His support may look like it’s a kilometre wide, but it’s mere centimetres deep. He’s in trouble when dolts like Kit Kat are the only things keeping his livestreams going.

I think a lot of these new pledges are going to these things and finding they are nothing special and consist of Lloyd talking about anything, even possible artwork on his wall just to make it seem like there’s a social club aspect to it.

1) Over the years he has changed his view: Used to think it would be possible to see the JW org face a catastrophe, either from falling numbers or going bankrupt. Now he believes the JWs "can weather almost any storm".

Hell’s Bells, I told him virtually the same fucking thing ten years ago on this very forum only to be called a WT apologist. That was his big thing back then, he claimed that since 2005 WT had reached a point of no return and would crumble.

2005 is Lloyd’s 1914, and now he’s changed the generations doctrine to an overlapping and continuous one. Keep donating people, his work will forever be needed to fight the bad guys!

Someone finally realised he’s not getting out of this exJW genre due to lack of interest, and is now conditioning his followers to support him and his bullshit until the grave.

What is it that you are talking about please?

Jabba the Hutt has a huge credibility and reputation problem and though he was able to partially regain some of his financial support, he’s not able to back it up by producing top notch content as he was able to before.

There was the Norway case which was huge and Jan Nilsen was the one who provided testimony to the government. Nilsen has condemned Lloyd for both his Thailand adventures and his grift. So it was a non-starter that Lloyd would be getting any inside scoop or cooperation from the man at the centre of it. Jason Wynne of AvoidJW was the one reporting on that case, and they have a history. Wynne has also made a public statement that he will not have anything to do with Lloyd Evans.

Wynne was also involved in the BBC documentary. Lloyd would have easily been the go-to guy on this before but the entire game has changed and he’s sulking about not getting in like he used to. He also knows this is why his patrons keep falling because his content has limited value because he’s blocked from many of these media appearances and he won’t promote any stories that perceived enemies of his are involved in.

So he said nothing, even though both those are huge stories and bigger than any convention video he could make. He’s blocking out information to his new batch of recruits that could lead them to making contacts with or following other sources in the community that are not favourable to him.
He’s essentially following the “marking” policy in order to shield his followers from people who might lead them to the truth about him. Already a few of his newer recruits are hearing things about the BBC documentary and the Norway case and are wondering when his video is coming out about that. So he’s lying to them in insinuating that his convention videos are more important and that he’s swamped.
